MICAI serves it members by providing timely educational seminars, opportunities to meet with state and federal lawmakers, and representation of member interests before the Indiana General Assembly and Indiana Department of Insurance. MICAI also acts as a resource, providing answers to a variety of questions dealing with the Indiana statutory and regulatory requirements.
In 2025, through our own events and through partnerships, individuals were able to earn 24 hours of agent continuing education credit, with both virtual and in-person options.
In April 2025, members met virtually with our national representatives and staff through NAMIC’s Congressional Contact Program to ensure Hoosier farm mutual voices were heard in Washington. We will be virtual again for 2026.
Through cooperation and sharing of resources, MICAI can offer valuable education, information, networking opportunities, and services to its members that would be difficult to provide on their own. MICAI’s dues have been and continue to be based on your company’s gross written premiums (GWP).
