MICAI serves it members by providing timely educational seminars, opportunities to meet with state and federal lawmakers, and representation of member interests before the Indiana General Assembly and Indiana Department of Insurance.  MICAI also acts as a resource, providing answers to a variety of questions dealing with the Indiana statutory and regulatory requirements.

In 2023, through our own events and through partnerships, individuals were able to earn 25 hours of agent continuing education credit, with both virtual and in-person options. 

In June 2023, a delegation from MICAI traveled to Washington, D.C., where members met with our national representatives and staff through NAMIC’s Congressional Contact Program to ensure Hoosier farm mutual voices were heard in Washington. We plan to be back in Washington, D.C. for 2024.

MICAI again partnered with Big I Indiana to host 2 baseball games for members, their families, and Indiana State Legislators over the summer. A great time was had by all!

Through cooperation and sharing of resources, MICAI can offer valuable education, information, networking opportunities, and services to its members that would be difficult to provide on their own. MICAI’s dues have been and continue to be based on your company’s gross written premiums (GWP).

Mutual Insurance Companies Association of Indiana, Inc. Through cooperation and sharing of resources MICAI can offer education, information and services to its members that would be difficult to provide on their own. Our success is, in part, due to the involvement of our Associate Members.
